Michel

Mr. Gouy has been active for more than 24 years in the
life science industries, specializing in strategic planning,
sales and marketing, and international management.
Experience
Prior to joining JSB-Partners, Mr. Gouy ran his own
consulting practice in Vienna, Austria. Before founding
his own firm, Mr. Gouy developed the health care unit
at Droege & Comp., a strategy consulting firm in
Düsseldorf, Germany. Previously, he was a managing
director of Octapharma GmbH and a Vice President of
International Marketing for the Octapharma Group, responsible
for business in Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary,
Slovakia, Slovenia and South Africa. Prior to Octapharma,
Mr. Gouy was with Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, as head
of Austrian pharmaceutical operations in Vienna. He
also served as Head of Planning Information and Control
in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Head of Marketing
of the Danish group company in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mr. Gouy joined Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals in 1983 as
assistant to the International Operations and Marketing
committee in the Basel, Switzerland offices.
Education
Mr. Gouy earned a graduate business degree from EAP/ESCP
European School of Management and an MBA from Harvard
Business School.
