Anya Ramalho

Anya Ramalho Anya Ramalho has 15 years experience in the life sciences industry, with expertise in product partnering, clinical development, and public and private equity investment.

Experience
Dr. Ramalho was previously an independent life sciences consultant. Prior to starting her own consultancy in 2007, Dr. Ramalho was an Investment Manager at Inventages Venture Capital. Before that, she was Executive Vice President Business Development at Berna Biotech, and also served on the executive board of Private Life BioMed, a venture capital investor. Prior to Berna Biotech, Dr. Ramalho was a Life Sciences Analyst at Puilaetco Investment Bank. Previously, she spent several years in clinical product development, primarily at SmithKline Beecham Biologicals (now GSK Biologicals).

Education
Dr. Ramalho holds a Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of Manchester, UK, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
